Team Azkals: ready to take Storm "Kuwait" in its area of responsibility

After the 0-3 loss against the Kuwait's Al-Azraqs, Team Azkals' are looking forward to making it up back home and secure the Philippine anthem in the FIFA world cup 2014.

With team Captain Aly Borromeo and Fil-German midfielder Stephan Schrock back in the battle field, Azkals were hoping to defend their winning streak when playing in home ground, since 2006.

Barring strong Tropical Storm "Juaning" soaking the Rizal Memorial Football Field, Team Azkals aren't afraid of the kind of storm the Kuwaitis, who swept them with a mighty 3-0 kick last week back in Kuwait, might bring to the Azkals area of responsibility.

"We will stick to the game plan. We had a good first half against Kuwait even though we played defensive. When we got adventuruos, that's when they killed us," Palami said.

Palami pointed out that there are still a lot of positives from the loss to what he called an Asian powerhouse.

"Kuwait has been in the World Cup. They are really a strong team and competing with them is a testament on how the sport has developed here," Palami said.
